Honestly, how can one not feel cheered up when seeing a whole bunch of portulaca flowers bloom like that? =)

Oh yes, this is definitely a perk me up …. 🙂
I have almost a whole planter of the yellow portulaca flowers now 🙂
These can be added to the salads …. U wan some Sky 🙂
I am growing them as ground covers together with three kinds of basils and a single kind of mints. Wished I had more kinds though 🙂

Heyas C!
I have so many pots of portulacas now my dad is scolding me for them. 😛 Hee. Thank you, but would you like some cuttings instead? Maybe of the different colors? If I can identify them when they’re not in bloom. Haha.

I suppose we are always having too many pots …. LOL
What I meant was I wished I had more kinds of basils and mints …. not portulacas … LOL
But thanks for offering them cuttings to me. At the moment I am planting the edible portulacas in the edibles section of the CG. I will not be growing any other kinds of portulacas.

LOL. Oops. Thought you wanted more portulacas. XD I know the broad-leaved kind can be eaten. But I’d rather not eat them. Lol.
I don’t grow basils; will offer mints but I’ve cut down on them until they’re more or less gone liao. Growing other stuff. Hee hee.
Have fun growing your edibles! They’re very interesting plants to take care of.
